Lo que no sabíamos es que teníamos que esperar un tiempo más... Siete años después del inicio, vuelven los excéntricos y misteriosos hermanos con un guión basado en la novela de David Lloyd y Alan Moore.<br />Quizás muchos no confiaban en los resultados que podía tener esta historia de ficción con política y palomitas de maíz de cine dominguero (en el mejor sentido!), pero la fascinante propuesta de una imaginaria sociedad fascista y opresora, la vida como ficción, el héroe salvador y la violencia como recurso liberador hacen de "V de Venganza" (como ha sido llamada en español) una de las mejores y más entretenidas películas de este año.<br />La estética y los efectos nos recuerdan esos elementos que colocaron a Matrix como una de las películas más impresionantes de la historia del cine. El predominio de las sombras y los negros los ambientan perfectamente en una ciudad de un futuro no muy lejano, apresada por las oscuras fuerzas del mal, donde solo un héroe anónimo y clandestino puede salvarnos. <br />Lo paradójico y más cautivante de este filme es que el "villano" o las fuerzas del mal, son atemporales y universales. Un líder político enfermo de poder, cruel y manipulador que se aprovecha de su pueblo sometido y bombardeado de discursos mediáticos cargados de terror y fanatismo. ¿Le suena esto familiar?<br />Natalie Portman vuelve a destacarse como una de las promesas jóvenes del cine actual. Cada emoción que vive Evey (su personaje) es compartida directamente con el especatdor. El film, centrado en la relación amorosa de dos vaqueros estadounidenses, aspiraba a un total de siete Globos. Por fuera quedaron los premios a Mejor actor (Heath Ledger), Mejor actriz secundaria (Michelle Williams) y Mejor banda sonora.<br />Walk the line obtuvo los tres galardones principales en comedia o musical al imponerse en las categorías de Mejor comedia, Mejor actor y Mejor actriz con el triunfo de Joaquín Phoenix y Reese Witherspoon, respectivamente.
